Few people can take something as complex as a nation’s creative ecosystem and make it visible, measurable, and deeply human at the same time.
That’s what Mary-Ann Falconi-Rasmijn, MBA, representing Impact Hub Aruba, did at CreActivo 2025 with her presentation “The Journey to Understanding Aruba’s Cultural and Creative Landscape.”
Her work is at the core of the national Mapping Initiative, the first comprehensive effort to identify and understand Aruba’s Cultural and Creative Industries through real data, real stories, and real people.
Mary-Ann reminded everyone that creativity is not a mystery, it’s a system. One that can be mapped, nurtured, and strengthened when we look at it with evidence and empathy.
