Through Go Cultura Foundation, he has led groundbreaking initiatives — from mapping Aruba’s creative industries to staging the CreActivo Conference — that push past limitations and build new frameworks for growth.
Arthur is not only a strategist but also a reform advocate and mentor, committed to equipping the next generation of creatives with the tools to thrive. His conviction is clear: culture is infrastructure, not decoration — and it belongs at the heart of Aruba’s future economy.

Vice President/Treasurer/Co-Founder
Edjean Semeleer is one of Aruba’s most respected cultural voices, known for his artistry, leadership, and deep commitment to the island’s creative spirit. With over three decades in the public eye as a performing artist, host, and cultural advocate, Edjean brings both passion and expertise to every initiative he leads.
As Vice President and Co‑Founder of Go Cultura Foundation, he plays an essential role in shaping projects that not only celebrate Aruba’s heritage but also position its creative sector as a force for sustainable national development. Beyond governance, Edjean is an award‑winning singer whose voice has accompanied the island through celebrations, farewells, and historic milestones. His ongoing work in documentary storytelling and cultural research further anchors Go Cultura’s mission to preserve memory while building the future.

Amy Longott-Richards

Amy Longott‑Richards is not only an accomplished professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Organization, Governance, and Management, but also a beloved Aruban singer and cultural advocate. She lives and breathes the traditions of Aruba, bringing her passion for folklore, music, and heritage into everything she does.
As Secretary of the Board and Advisor at Go Cultura Foundation, Amy ensures that integrity and structure guide the organization’s work. She also hosts cultural conversations such as Ban Papia Cultura, giving voice to the stories and perspectives that shape Aruba’s identity.
Her unique blend of academic expertise and artistic presence makes her a powerful bridge between governance and community, proving that culture is not just managed, it is lived.

Shirenne R. Quandt

Shirenne Quandt is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Management and a deep passion for Aruba’s cultural identity. For years, she has worked closely with the Go Cultura Foundation, providing vital support in administration, strategic planning, customer service, and advisory roles. Her behind‑the‑scenes dedication has been key to the Foundation’s growth and impact.
While not a creative herself, Shirenne is a strong champion of authenticity, heritage, and local empowerment. She believes Aruba’s future as a destination lies in embracing its Cultural and Creative Industries, ensuring that development begins with its people. Known for her reliability, professionalism, and sharp communication and critical thinking skills, Shirenne helps guide Go Cultura’s mission of transforming the island into a destination where identity and authenticity are its greatest strengths.

Doris Canwood
Lawyer & Legal Advisor
Doris Canwood is a distinguished attorney with extensive experience in a broad spectrum of legal areas. She graduated with a Master of Laws from the University of Aruba in 1998 and further enhanced her education at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2005. Doris has been practicing law for over two decades, focusing on corporate, civil, public, and trademark law, among other areas.
Jeanedy Semeleer

Jeanedy Semeleer is a talented young singer and makeup artist from Aruba whose passion for the arts is evident in everything she does. Since the inception of the Go Cultura Foundation in 2017, Jeanedy has been a dedicated supporter, contributing in various capacities. Her involvement ranges from conducting historical research and writing insightful pieces to performing as an artist at the foundation's fundraising events.

Graciela Nedd-Cheng
Team Member
Graciela Nedd-Cheng, a Surinamese-Chinese descendant, has called Aruba home for over 30 years. She works at the National Library of Aruba (Biblioteca Nacional Aruba) as a documentalist in the Arubiana-Caribiana branch, where she plays a crucial role in archiving, preserving, and making documentation accessible to the local community, both physically and digitally. Graciela is deeply passionate about her work, understanding the importance of treasuring and preserving history to help us learn from the past and shape a better future.

Silvia Gildhorn, born in Venezuela and raised in Aruba, embodies a rich blend of cultures that has profoundly influenced her life. With a deep passion for preserving and celebrating cultural heritage, Silvia has actively participated in initiatives that ensure traditions remain vibrant and thriving. Her diverse background fuels her commitment to fostering cultural awareness and appreciation, aiming to inspire future generations to connect with and honor their roots.

Genevieve Garcia

Genevieve Garcia is a multi-talented and creative force in Aruba. As a poet, former newspaper writer, and current radio host of "B'a tende?!" alongside Ghislaine Koeiman, Genevieve continuously showcases her diverse skills and passion for the arts. Growing up as the daughter of the late Ruben Garcia, a local legend, she was often responsible for producing her father’s shows and productions, honing her organizational, logistical, and production skills from a young age.

Antonieta Ras-Booi is a passionate advocate for Aruba’s cultural and artistic heritage.
As the daughter of the first head of the "Instituto di Cultura,” Mr. Hubert “Lio” Booi, and sister to one of Aruba’s golden voices, Mrs. Lidwina Booi, Antonieta was immersed in the arts from a young age. Her childhood was filled with music, acting, and poetry, leading her to a lifelong involvement in creative and cultural initiatives.
